The Your Twenty-Something PR Girl blog turned one on November 14! They say the only time you should look back is to see how far you’ve come and that’s exactly what I’m doing today. This is a great opportunity to reflect on this past year, even though it feels like I launched this blog yesterday. Isn’t it crazy how time flies?
In honor of the Your Twenty-Something PR Girl blog turning one, I’m sharing my top three favorite blog posts on the blog so far.
This is not only one of my top three favorite posts so far, it’s also the first blog post I wrote for the blog. I spent more time on this post than any other one and I am still am very proud of it. I remember after posting it, I basically held my breath all day, wondering if people were going to read it. And you know what? They did! I checked my stats that night and had 80 something views. I honestly thought only a few people would read it. I’m happy I took this big leap and did something scary because the stats showed my mom wasn’t the only one supporting me.
I love this post for many reasons. First, it’s so honest and raw. Second, it reminds me of where I started and where I want the Your Twenty-Something PR Girl blog to go. Whenever I read it, I feel inspired and motivated to keep working on perfecting the site and blog.
I love this post. My mom loved this post. I think just about everyone loved this post. I wasn’t expecting the amount of love I got on it. It was another one of those posts where I thought, “This is kind of risky and raw,” but I did it anyway.
Are you catching a pattern? I suppose I like risky, raw, and honest content; that’s what makes it exciting.
I know I said I was going to choose my top three favorite blog posts, but there’s no way I could leave this one out! I mean come on, I went viral simply because I liked Chrissy Teigen’s dress! This post is my most viewed post and gives complete details from the whole phenomenon. It was the most excitement I had in my life in a long time🙈😂
I also love the play on words in the title for this post. I’m super surprised no one else thought of it in their articles like this one, or this one, or even this one, but I digress (I love all the articles anyway). It was still SO cool and is still being mentioned in articles months later, like this one.
As I reflect, I can’t help but get excited about the time I plan on taking to revamp and launch a new version of my blog. It’s amazing how much I’ve learned in a year that I can take and use to continue to perfect the Your Twenty-Something PR Girl blog.
CHEERS TO ONE YEAR🥂
